ARCOmadrid 2027 runs from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 March at IFEMA Madrid, the trade fair grounds in the north-east of the city near Barajas airport.
What is ARCOmadrid?
ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid and one of the most important art fairs in the Spanish-speaking world. Galleries from Europe and Latin America show modern and contemporary work, and collectors, curators and museum directors travel in for the opening days. Fair week also brings openings at Madrid's galleries and events at the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums.
How do you get to IFEMA by chauffeur?
IFEMA is around 20 to 30 minutes by car from central Madrid, and around 10 minutes from Barajas airport, so it is easy to go straight from your flight to the fair. Your chauffeur can drop you at the entrance closest to the ARCO halls and wait while you visit, then take you on to galleries in Salamanca, Chueca or Lavapiés.
