The Helsinki Christmas Market 2026 runs from 27 November to 22 December on Senate Square, in front of Helsinki Cathedral. It is open from 11am to 7pm Sunday to Thursday, and until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Entry is free.
What is the Helsinki Christmas Market?
Known locally as Tuomaan markkinat, the St Thomas Market, it draws more than 650,000 visitors a year. Wooden stalls sell Finnish crafts, glögi, pastries and seasonal food around a vintage carousel. On 13 December, the St Lucia procession sets off from the cathedral.
How do you visit by chauffeur?
