What is IAA MOBILITY?
IAA MOBILITY is the successor to the Frankfurt Motor Show and one of the most important events for the car and mobility industries. It combines a business summit at Messe München with an Open Space in central Munich, where brands show vehicles in squares and streets across the old town.
How do you get around IAA MOBILITY by chauffeur?
The event is split between Messe München in Riem and the city centre, around 20 to 30 minutes apart by car. During the event, some central squares, including Odeonsplatz and Königsplatz, are used for displays, and traffic in the old town is restricted. A chauffeur on hourly hire moves you between the summit and the Open Space and plans around closures.
Planning your visit
- Check whether your ticket covers the summit, Open Space or both.
- Plan meetings so you are not crossing the city too often.
- Allow extra time around the Open Space locations.
- Book evening transfers for brand events in advance.
