Il Lombardia 2026 takes place on Saturday 10 October. The 239.6 km race starts in Bergamo at around 11am and finishes in Como between about 4:40pm and 5:20pm.
What is Il Lombardia?
Known as the Race of the Falling Leaves, Il Lombardia is one of cycling's five Monuments and the last of the season. The mountainous course, with 4,479 metres of climbing, includes famous ascents such as the Madonna del Ghisallo above Lake Como, before a flat run into the city.
How do you watch Il Lombardia by chauffeur?
Roads on the course close as the race passes. An hourly chauffeur can take you to a viewing point on one of the climbs, then on to Como for the finish using roads off the route. Milan and its airports are around an hour from Como.
