The 23rd Seville European Film Festival takes place from Friday 6 to Saturday 14 November 2026. Honorary awards go to Polish director Agnieszka Holland and Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon, the first time the festival has honoured an animation studio.
What is the Seville European Film Festival?
Held since 2001, the festival focuses on contemporary European cinema, with films selected from major festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Locarno. A jury awards the Golden and Silver Giraldillos.
