What is the Dubrovnik Summer Festival?
Founded in 1950, it is one of the most important cultural festivals in the Mediterranean. Theatre, opera, classical music and dance are staged in open-air venues such as Fort Lovrijenac, the Rector's Palace and the squares of the Old Town, against the backdrop of medieval walls and Baroque palaces.
How do you get to performances by chauffeur?
The Old Town is pedestrian and very busy in summer, with heavy traffic around the Pile Gate. Your chauffeur will drop you at the closest gate for your venue and collect you after the performance. Many guests stay outside the city, in Cavtat or on the Lapad peninsula, and a chauffeur makes evening performances easy.
