The Fête du Citron 2027 takes place in Menton from Saturday 13 to Sunday 28 February. Menton is on the French Riviera near the Italian border, around 40 to 50 minutes by car from Nice.
What is the Fête du Citron?
The Fête du Citron is one of the Riviera's most famous winter festivals. Huge sculptures made from tonnes of lemons and oranges fill the Jardins Biovès, and parades of citrus-covered floats move along the Promenade du Soleil on Sundays, with night parades on selected evenings.
How do you get to Menton by chauffeur?
From Nice, the drive to Menton follows the coast or the A8 motorway. On parade days, traffic into Menton is heavy and parking is very limited. Your chauffeur will drop you close to the festival area and wait nearby, so you can enjoy the parade and then continue to lunch in Menton, Monaco or a hill village such as Sainte-Agnès.
