What is IRONMAN France Nice?
IRONMAN France Nice is one of the most famous long-distance triathlons in Europe. Athletes swim in the Baie des Anges, ride a demanding bike course into the hills behind Nice and finish with a run along the Promenade des Anglais. It draws competitors and supporters from around the world.
How do you travel in Nice on race day?
The Promenade des Anglais and many roads in the hills close for the race, which affects traffic across the city, including routes to Nice airport. Your chauffeur can take athletes and bikes to transition early in the morning, move supporters between viewing points and plan airport transfers around the closures.
Planning race weekend
- Check the official schedule for bike check-in and race start.
- Book a vehicle with space for bike boxes.
- Agree supporter pick-up points away from the Promenade.
