How do you travel in Florence on marathon day?
The historic centre is already a limited traffic zone, and on race day many more roads close. Your chauffeur will drop you at the nearest permitted point to the start and meet you after the finish outside the closed area. For Florence airport or a transfer to Pisa or Bologna, allow extra time.
