What is La Tomatina?
For about an hour, thousands of participants throw ripe tomatoes at each other in the streets of Buñol. Trucks bring tonnes of tomatoes into the town centre, and the fight starts and ends with a signal. It has become one of the world's most famous festivals.
How do you get to Buñol by chauffeur?
The drive from Valencia takes around 40 to 50 minutes on the A-3. Roads into Buñol are very busy on the morning of the event. Your chauffeur will drop you at the closest permitted point and wait to take you back to Valencia after you have cleaned up.
