Why is the Lisbon Half Marathon special?
The Lisbon Half Marathon is one of the fastest half marathons in the world and one of the few races where runners cross a major suspension bridge on foot. The flat riverside course has produced world-class times, and the race draws a large international field each March.
How do you get to the start by chauffeur?
The bridge closes to traffic on race morning, and runners reach the start from the south bank. Your chauffeur can take you to the official access point in good time and then meet you near the finish in Belém. If you are not running, note that the bridge and riverside roads are closed for several hours, so allow extra time for any journey, including to the airport.
