What is Rome Film Fest 2026?
The Rome Film Fest is the capital's international film festival, founded in 2006. Its programme mixes international premieres, Italian cinema, retrospectives and public conversations with directors and actors. Alongside the Auditorium, recent editions have used venues such as the MAXXI museum, Casa del Cinema and Teatro Olimpico, so guests often move between several locations over a day.
How do you get to the Auditorium Parco della Musica by chauffeur?
The Auditorium sits on Viale Pietro de Coubertin, north of Piazza del Popolo and close to the Stadio Flaminio. Evening premieres draw crowds and photographers, and the surrounding roads can slow down noticeably before red-carpet screenings. A chauffeur can drop you as close to the entrance as stewards allow and wait nearby or return at a pre-arranged time. Journeys from the historic centre usually take around 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic; from Fiumicino Airport, allow about 45 minutes or more.
Planning your day
- Check your screening time and venue, as programmes are spread across several Rome locations.
- Allow extra time for security and crowds at evening red-carpet screenings.
- Agree a pick-up point away from the main entrance for a quicker departure.
- Book an airport transfer with flight tracking if you are flying in for a premiere.
