The Revetla de Sant Sebastià takes place on the night of 19 January, followed by the feast day of Palma's patron saint on 20 January. In 2027 the Revetla falls on a Tuesday.
What is the Revetla de Sant Sebastià?
On the eve of the feast, bonfires and grills, the foguerons, are lit in squares across the old town, and people gather to cook sausages, botifarrons and pork. Concerts play on stages in several squares until late. It is Palma's biggest local party of the winter.
How do you get around Palma on the Revetla?
The old town's squares are packed and many streets are closed. Your chauffeur will drop you at the edge of the old town and meet you later, after the concerts, when taxis are in short supply.
