What is Smart City Expo World Congress?
Smart City Expo World Congress is one of the largest international events on the future of cities. It covers urban mobility, energy, governance, housing and digital infrastructure, and it attracts mayors, government delegations and corporate leaders alongside exhibitors. Much of the real business happens in side meetings, delegation visits and evening receptions across Barcelona.
How do you get to Fira Gran Via by chauffeur?
Fira Gran Via sits between Barcelona city centre and El Prat airport. From hotels on Passeig de Gràcia or in Diagonal Mar, the drive usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, though queues build on the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes around opening time. From El Prat, the transfer is often around 15 to 20 minutes. Your chauffeur can drop you at the entrance that suits your hall and wait nearby, which is useful when you are moving between the fair and meetings in the city.
Planning your visit
- Register in advance and collect your badge early on day one.
- Plan a pick-up point with your chauffeur, as fair exits get busy at closing time.
- Leave extra time for the morning drive on the first day.
- Book evening transfers early if you are attending receptions or dinners.
