What is the Edinburgh Fringe?
The Fringe is the world's largest arts festival, with thousands of shows in comedy, theatre, music, dance and cabaret across hundreds of venues. Anyone can perform, so the programme ranges from big names to new talent in tiny rooms. The anniversary edition in 2027 is expected to be especially busy.
How do you get around the Fringe by chauffeur?
Many venues are in the Old Town around the Royal Mile and George Square, where streets are narrow, crowded and partly closed. Others are in the New Town and further out.
