The Biennale Architettura 2027 opens with preview days for professionals and accredited guests on 6 and 7 May, then runs to the public from 8 May to 21 November 2027 at the Giardini and the Arsenale.
What is the Venice Architecture Biennale?
The Biennale's International Architecture Exhibition is the world's most important architecture event. The 2027 edition is curated by Wang Shu, winner of the 2012 Pritzker Prize, and Lu Wenyu, founders of Amateur Architecture Studio. Its theme, Do Architecture – For the Possibility of Coexistence Facing a Real Reality, focuses on architecture's practical role in facing climate change and urban transformation. National pavilions and collateral events fill the city.
How do you get to the Biennale with a chauffeur?
Cars stop at Piazzale Roma or the Tronchetto. Your chauffeur can meet you at Marco Polo Airport or anywhere in the Veneto and drive you to Piazzale Roma, where a water taxi can take you to the Giardini or Arsenale. During preview days, demand for water taxis is very high, so book in advance.
